Rob Ramage was born on January 11, 1951 in Byron, Ontario. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the first round, #1 overall in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. During his NHL career, Ramage played for 8 different teams and the defenseman appeared in 1044 games, scoring 139 goals, 452 assists for 564 points while racking up 2224 penalty minutes.
